could not open the item

i uninstalled office 2k3 trial when it expired and installed office xp, all
went seemingly well but when i opened outlook i got an error unable to start
processing services. could not open the item. try again
i get this and various other errors all about the same and my inbox and all
them dont seem to exist, whats goin on??

What's going on is that the PST you created with your trial OL 2003 can't be
read by any earlier version of Outlook. You'll need to reinstall OL 2003
(by setting your PC's clock back), create an OL 97-2002 PST, copy all your
folders to it, and then use that one after reinstalling OL 2002.
