could not open Visio document

I created a UML document with Visio 2003 and sent it to my workmate,
but he ran into internal error when opened the attachment. His Visio is
also Visio 2003.

Hi Jack,

Not sure what's wrong here, but make sure you both have all the updates
installed for starters.

You might also try saving your file as Visio-xml format (.VDX) and see if
that works any better...something to try anyway.

Do you both have the same version i.e Standard, Professional or
Enterprise ?
A drawing created in, say, Professional, that requires a particular
add-on e.g. UML that isn't included in standard will produce an error.
