Further to my original post;

I have just noticed that one of the errors (marked 2# in my first
post) where
"the code stops when the selected cell is N716 ...." maybe arising
from limitations of output from the 'Advanced Filter - Unique records
only' ?

Does anyone know if this might be the case, any if so could the same
menu filtering be achieved via a VB macro?
