Count or Sumif formula

How would I write a formula for the example below

a b
1 m scaf
2 b scaf
3 b scaf
4 b lab

I am wanting to create a count if to where I am counting the b's in a that
have scaf. The answer should be 2.

Try this =SUMPRODUCT(--(A1:A4="b"),--(B1:B4="scarf"))
