Countif Across worksheet tabs

Has anyone tried to insert a countif formula across multiple workshee
tabs

ie =countif('Sheet1:Sheet3'!D48,"Yes")

You may try to download the free add-in Morefunc.xll
(http://longre.free.fr/english). The function COOUNTIF.3D should work
for you:
=COUNTIF.3D('sheet1:sheet3'!D48,"Yes")
