I need to count the number of simultaneous occurences in 2
columns.

I was trying to use Countif but I don't know how to make
it count if both parameters are satisfied.

For Example, In count how many occurances exist in where
in range A1:A10 there is a number 7 AND also in range
C1:C10, there is a number 2004.
I used COUNTIF (A1:A10,7) FOR one, and Countif(C1:C10,
2004) for the second, but how do I combined these two
formulas into one simple one?

How on earth do I do that?

It can't do that. Both COUNTIF and SUMIF are limited to a single criterion.

You need a SUMPRODUCT formula as suggested by the other replies.
