countifs criteria

I am trying to count blank cells in as part of the second criteria.
=COUNTIFS(I2:I126,"reg",J2:J126," ")

I have used this =COUNTIFS(I2:I126,"reg",countblank J2:J126)
I can't get the number of blank cells.

can anyone help.
