Countup Timer

Hi,

I am trying to create an animated countup timer on a slide that references
an Excel spreadsheet. For instance, I have 10 numbers in a column of an
Excel spreadie, 1 to 10. I would like to create something on a slide
(animated text box?) that begins with the first number of the column and
moves through to the last over a specified time frame (e.g. 5 mins).

This is a simplified version of what I'm trying to do, but if there is a way
of doing this then I can expand on it. I need to be able to accomplish this
on one slide rather than a seperate slide for each figure as I have over 200
numbers to "countup" to over the space of an hour.

Is this possible? Any help anyone could provide would be much appreciated!

Is using VBA macros a possibility? If so, this is possible, not easy, but
possible.
