Cover pages

My cover pages will not let me modify the abstract/ author section to say what i want, I can't even select the existing text. How do it get around this?

Some cover pages react strangely indeed. See if you can select the text box
that contains the author placeholder text, then right-click it and select
Edit Text from the contextual menu.
