Coversion of Foreign Currency

I have a xlw file with 9 sheets - each one holding a different type of
financial report. All of teh amounts are in a foreign currency. How can I
enter the foreign amounts in the workbook and then have Excel convert those
amounts into my local currency. Thank You

hi,
alot of way to go about this but basicly you will need a
minimum of 2 columns for that. 1 column to enter the
foreign currencies and 1 to hold a formula to conver the
foreign currencies into your local currency.
Assumming the foreign currency was in cell g2 and the
formula was in h2, the formula would look something like
this =(G2*exchange rate) then copy down
you could put the exchange rate in column h and the
formula in column i. =(G2*H2) then copy down
since exchange rates vary you might pick a place on the
sheet to put the current exchange rate. say A1 for example.
then the formula would look like this =(g2*$A$1) copy down.
