HELP, Will someome please help me, I recently purchased a
new laptop, and I'm trying to convert Microsoft ME over
to Microsoft XP, When I pull up the document, which I
loading in from a zip drive I can see it ,but when I try
to open it up it only gives me xxxx,oooo that I can't
read. it is not reading the ME version which XP should
pick up thae old product, is happeing with my other
software products like excel as well. Oh!! There no help
from Dell they want to charge me a arm, leg and my first
born. Calling all software gurus.

Hi Al!

For a price including your firstborn, you should also have got a copy
of Office XP or Office 2003. You'll need that to access your old
Office files.
