covertaccessoproject with secure dbs

hi, i am writing an upgrade for a legacy access 97 application. My new
application (written in .NET) will upgrade the existing access 97 app to 2003
upon completion of the installer. I have been successfull in converting the
97 database using the application.convertaccessproject method, however
because the existing db belongs to a secure workgroup (mdw), it prompts for a
login during the conversion process. I need the process to be 'silent' in
that there is no prompt during the conversion. I have been unsuccessful thus
far in finding information on how to apply the workgroup programmatically
during the conversion process. Can anyone help ?

I think you may have got this wrong. Please explain this some more.
