Hi y'all, is there a way of saving hyperlinks when you convert a word doc into a pdf. So far I haven't managed this.
Many thanx for your trouble,

Rumor has it that both Apple & Microsoft use a PDF generator licensed from
Adobe. What has been made available at a realistic fee [as I understand it]
doesn't include many of the features some would like to have... That's one
of them. Unless you can find another PDF engine that provides the capability
Acrobat is the only game in town. You might drop a line to Adobe ‹ although
many say that their response will be that it's the fault of MS & Word :)

I have the same problem. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I don't have the initial post you replied to but in any case, here is how it
works (or not) for me, using Word 2008 in 10.4.11:

Save as PS > create with Distiller > open with Acrobat = links
Save as PS > create with Distiller > open with Preview = no links
Save as PDF > open with Acrobat = links
Save as PDF > open with Preview = no links

I believe that Distiller is a 3rd party product from Adobe that is
installed as part of Adobe Acrobat.
