A while ago I posted an problem with this same exact title. This is
my resolution to my problem, for the benefit of myself (when I forget
the solution in the future, and I will) and for others.
I have Adobe Acrobat 5.0 installed on my system. The program installs
the template file "PDFMaker.dot" in the path "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Startup". If I remove this template
file from this folder, the 100% CPU problem is gone. As soon as I put
the template file back in the folder, the problem is back.
