Crappy product - Shame on you Bill

F

Frustrated User

This product creates these complex webs that are difficult
to transfer to a server. It does not have to be that way.
Just a poorly developed product that should not be sold to
the public without free support!!! - Shame on you Bill!!!
I guess with your billions, why should you care!!!

Shame on you for:

1) Not asking a specific question about a problem;
2) Not reading the help files;
3) Trolling
4) There is much free support available in the peer-to-peer newsgroups, and
the MS Knowledge Base

Your web is only as good as the server that "serves it"

File > Publish web.. never seemed that difficult to me.

But then, I read the instructions.

I have my site hosted on a server that supports the Front
Page Extensions. I had never developed a website or used
Front Page before. The first time and every time since I
have been able to upload my site with just a few mouse
clicks ... File | Publish. The "hard" part is the first
time when you have to answer a few questions like web
site address, username and password all of which should
be supplied by your host.

Now if you are complaining because your host does not
support the Front Page Extensions and you have to use an
FTP approach to publishing, I sympathize with you 100%. I
have been trying to publish my second site in that manner
and I am still not successful after one month.

I would suggest if you have a host that does not support
Front Page Extensions that you switch to a host that
does. Unfortunately, I cannot as the site is been
developed for a non-profit that has had the hosting
donated.

If you really want to solve your problem, I hope this
points you in the right direction. If you just want to
complain, the others here have punched your TS card.

PLEASE find and use a different product, from a different company, such as
Macromedia Dreamweaver, for example. You will draw the same conclusions
about the software, but you won't be able to blame Bill Gates for it. Then,
if you are honest with yourself, you will realize that blaming the software
for your own limitations doesn't help you achieve anything.

I know what you mean. I spent almost $1,000 on Adobe Photoshop, and I'm no
better at drawing now than I was before. What a rip off.

Same problem here. I bought a piano and I still can't play it.
Suppose I need to take some lessons or buy a book on how to play the thing?
