I'm experiencing problems with Word 2003 when trying to do a 'save as' on a
merged document.
This process was working perfectly a month ago on files containing over 1000
records. I have since limited this to 5 records per file after this problem
started but without success.
When I try to perform a 'save as', word is crashing with an error message
saying insufficient memory or fatal disk error. I have ruled both of these
out as the problem is happening on many machines and I have tried saving in
various local and networked locations.
We have tried rolling back some recent word updates and also a machine that
has not had either word or windows updates applied for a number of months but
again without success.
