A few months ago, i upgraded from office 2000 to office xp. while i am
typing in a word document, the screen freezes and does the whole save thing
(most of the time). it looks like only once in a while the whole Word
program closes - most of the time only the document i am working on. I have
tried to set things up so that I am saving every minute, but with the amount
of typing I am doing, even one minute of work is a lot and I am getting
frustrated at losing so man. One thing I noticed is different is that there
is a faded document that saves in my folder with a ~$ in front of it, which
didn't happen before and looks temporary - sometimes this disappears when I
open and close the folder, sometimes it stays.
