Crashing when playing video

I have a laptop running Win XP and using office 2003, the problem I am having
is when I insert video clips into a presentation and try to play them back
Powerpoint hangs and I have to use End Task to kill it. The video clip will
play fine on it's own when not in powerpoint.

Anyone any ideas??

That really sounds like a video card driver issue. Look on your video card
manufactures web site and see if they have an updated driver.
