Crazy Formatting Issue!

It won't format until I double click it to get to edit, THEN click off.

Just take a look, it boggles my mind!!!

Hi
One way is to select the whole range. Press F2 and then Ctrl+Enter.
Another is to copy a blank unused cell, select your range and then
Edit/Paste Special/Add. Then format the range as date as required.
