CRC file error with outlook PST

Trying to copy my .PST file fails with a message about a
CRC file error. chkdsk and scandsk show no problems.
scanpst fails with the same CRC error. Outlook XP runs
but very slowly and cannot view some folders.

Any suggests for how to repair this file? I suspect it is
a problem with the underlying file itself. I am running
WinXP.

CRC errors most often indicate a failing harddisk. There is nothing you can
do with it in Outlook except trying to export as many items as you can if
you don't have a recent back up. You might have success in a hardware
newsgroup on how you can even save more data and verify that the disk is
failing.
