Creata tables based on a Visio document

Federico Marchesi

Hi everybody,

I have reverse engineered a ODBC database in Visio, then I created
several new tables.

Now I'd like Visio to generate the SQL statements to create the tables
in my database, but I can't figure out how to do it.
Can you help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Do you mean that I'm doing everything in vain?

I've been creating a quite big database in Visio in order to have the
syntax to create tables "for free".
Damn!!
Any suggestion to save me?? :))
Like exporting the file in some other format and continue the job in
some other environment?

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately the function has been 'deprecated' (microsoft for dropped).
The group (not the visio team) that owned it decided they wanted to move on
to something else. You might check around for a copy of vs2005 enterprise
architect which is how the software version was distributed.
sorry, it bit me too.
