Create a composite PDF from publisher using PMS spot colors

Hello out there,
I am trying to create a PDF from publisher using PMS spot colors, when I
distill the postscript file it converts all spot to cmyk. I have tried using
acrobat distiller, and a generic postscipt printer driver, my Distiller
options are set to leave color unchanged.

Do I need a different postscipt printer driver? Or do I have to create the
postscript as separations? Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks ChiaChick

You'll have to do it as separations, that's the only way I know that
Publisher won't convert colors to sRGB. Using something like PitStop Pro you
could change the resulting PDF into a 2 color job. But that's not
necessarily a "quick" thing to do. But it can be done. Fixing images however
is a bit more of a challenge. To say the least...

If you do make a pre-separated PDF for your printer, make sure that they can
handle merging the separations back together. Otherwise it can get kind of
"messy" rather quickly.
