Create a custom menu in MS Project 2007

I think the ability to create custom menus in MS Project 2007 is great. I
have done this with the thought of creating the new menu with new views in
the Global file but have been unsuccessful. The custom menu and views show up
for me, but not for anybody else. I am an admin on this domain. Anybody got a
clue??

Don,

After you create the customizations, you need to use the Organizer
(Tools > Organizer) to move the components of the customization to
Enterprise Global. Then, your users who who connect to Project Server
using Project Professional will get the new Enterprise Global.

The best way to do that is first make a backup of the existing
Enterprise Global and store it somewhere safe. Then, load the default
blank project (as long as that has the new features) and then open
Enterprise Global (Tools > Enterprise Options) and move the new custom
components from the blank project to the Enterprise Global file.

Take your time doing it so you don't introduce any items into the
Enterprise Global that you don't intend to. Also, any item that you
import into the Enterprise Global must have a unique name or your will
cause corruption of the Enterprise Global and earn the wrath of your
users when they have to deal with the annoying pop-ups. This includes
sub-items. So if you have a view that contains a table, both the view
and the table need to have a unique name. For client work, I usually
append the original item name with and underscoreClientName.

Hope this helps,

Mark,

I finally got a chance to try this out. The problem I hit was that the
custom menus don't show up in the organizer. Custom fields and custom tables,
yes; custom menus, no. Any other ideas??
