Create a new document property

Hi,

Is there a way to create a new custom document property in the active
document? (not just assign a value to a predefined custom property,
but create a whole new property)

Thanks in advance.

Hi Raphael,

Yes, of course. Open the File > Properties dialog and click the Custom tab.
Type a name (that isn't already used) in the Name box, choose a type from
the dropdown, and type in a value. At that time the Add button becomes
enabled. Click it, and the new property will appear in the list at the
bottom.

To change a property's value (predefined or one you created), select it in
the list. The Add button will change to Modify. Edit the value and click the
Modify button.

Yes. Go to the Custom tab of the properties dialog and define a new property
by giving it a name. If you want it to have a type of data other than text,
you can assign that as well.
