Create a tooltip in PowerPoint 2002

Hi,

We are converting PP presentations into CBTs that reside on our
Training server. We are trying to create a more elegant links to
definitions. Currently, if there is a link to a definition in the
presentation, we link to a seperate slide. For example, there is a link
to the term: PI. The link takes the user to a slide that has the
definition of PI. Then the user has to click a <back> button to go back
to the course. What I want to do is create a more Javascript like look.
The user clicks or hovers over the term and the definition appears.
Once the user clicks again or moves away from the term, the definition
disappears. Is this possible?

Thanks
Kim

The ability to create mouseover tooltips is built into the hyperlink
capability. It's not intuitively obvious but it is there and works
nicely after some testing. Not sure exactly what you are doing so
going to point you there and let you do the rest.

Ask back if you need more help.
