Create a Unplanned Activity from outlook

I am using MS project 2007 and i configure my outlook for the MS project
server.(configuration is done by installing of add-in to the outlook and
intergrate in the outlook task.).All the assigned activity are imported as
the task in my outlook. In a week,we will be doing atleast one or two
unplanned activity. Then in the project web access,we will be adding a new
line in the timesheet and update the time sheet. Is it possible to do the
same activty from outlook.How to add the unplanned task from the outlook and
update the ms project 2007.Please provide step for it.

Hi Vijay,

No you cant create a new activity for your timesheet in outlook. You would
either need to use PWA or need to custom develop this solution.

Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to create a custom add-in tool of
outlook or a custom web application for it. If any one is possible,please
guide how to do it.

Hi Vijay,

yes that is certainly possible. In order to achieve this you will need
someone with Development expertise. I would recommend that you may look into
a Microsoft solution provider that has the technical capabillity of
developing the solution for you. You can find partners on the microsoft page
where you can search by region.
