I have a database that stores employee experience in main categories, and
then many different sub-categories (form for the employee, subforms for the
categories, and a list of things under each category- I hope this makes
sense). What I need is an average for all those individual categories at the
most specific level. I could achieve this by making an employee name of
"average" on the form and running an average in the boxes that normally hold
the experience levels that range from 0-4. Is this possible? Instead of
entering values, can I entering a code to run an average on all the
employees? I have started generating reports using =avg([store operations)]
for example, but I don't need all these reports, I need the averages in the
form I use to enter the data. Is Access able to do this?? Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
