create button to find today's date in another tab

I am trying to create a spreadsheet where by pressing a button on the front
page it will take me to another tab where there is a rota of support person
covering in date order. I would like the button to go to and highlight the
day's date that I am currently on.

This can certainly be done, however you need to supply more information
where would the support persons name appear?, is the destination tab th
same name as the support person? is it always todays date that you woul
want or would you want to select a data? if so what would be the dat
range
