Dear All
I have the problem addressed by KB article 319904 "OL2002: Email
addresses of imported contacts appear as commas or semi-colons" (in my
case full stops as well!).
Briefly:
I wish to create a distribution list from contacts imported from Excel
via a tab-delimited file. The contacts import fine into Outlook in as
much as I can create new messages to these contacts. I presume,
therefore, that the fields are mapped correctly. I have
double-checked this by exporting the contacts into a new tab-delimited
file: they appeared perfectly - columns correct, data correct.
However, when I try to create a distribution list I just get a full
stop in the "Members" box when adding members. Strangely, some of the
contacts appear in the address book dialogue box whereas others do
not.
I have reviewed as many of the relevant postings in this and other
groups as I can, as well as the the above KB article.
Any help very welcome!
Thanks.
