Hello,

I'm trying to figure out a way to create a viewer on my worksheet.

The Idea is:

A Column with cells containing either links to PDF's or PDFs themselves.

Selecting a cell (or even a ROW) with the PDF file views the PDF in a graphic view in an area of the worksheet.

Right now I simply have the PDF files Hyperlinked to open in an external PDF viewer, which is very nice also, but I would also like the ability to view the images within my worksheet also.

Thank You!

You might want to try using Insert> Picture (or Insert> Movie if animated or
multi-page) to display the object on the sheet. You can't hyperlink directly
to the object but you can define a Named Range where the object is located &
link to that range or you can link to a cell in that area.

Thank you for your reply Bob,
You might want to try using Insert> Picture (or Insert> Movie if animated or

This would work if I only had a couple of PDF files, but each row needs one.
You can't hyperlink directly

link to that range or you can link to a cell in that area.

Seems there is no way to create what I am needing in Excel, or MS Office 2008. Thankfully I downloaded a try before you buy.

I found a way to create what I am looking for in openoffice database and even surprisingly in bento.

Thanks anyways!
