I have created a Pivot table from external OLAP Datasource in Excel 2003. I
want to save it as a template but without the External data ie. just the
layout - without any figures. I select Save as/File format Excel Teplate.
I get following message:
"This workbook contains external data. Do you want Microsoft Excel to clear
the data before saving the template, and then automatically refresh the data"
But no matter if I select Yes or No the template is always soved with the
figures. I do not know if it is a bug or if I am doing something wrong. Or is
there any other way how to save the Pivot without the figures?
