Create new task from Project Details Screen

Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to create a new task and edit a task in the
Project Details Screen. I am an administrator.

I know that I can create a task from my tasks, but then as an Admin I found
it weird to goto my tasks to create a task, then go and approve the task I
created.

The reason for this is that when I am not in the office and need to manage
the Project I only have access to PWA and not Project Professional.

Any help is appreciated.

No, you cannot create a new task from the Project Details page. Sorry.

Ok, How about editing an existing task from the Project Details page?
Also is my tasks the only place from where we can create a new task in PWA ?

No, you cannot edit existint tasks from the Project Details page. Yes, the
My Tasks page is the only place where a user can create a new task for an
enterprise project, and the PM must approve the new task before it goes into
the Microsoft Project plan. Hope this helps.
