I have experienced a problem creating outlook contacts from my DB, then
isolated the problem using the Contacts template shipped with Access 2007 and
the contacts tempalte available on line:
Here's the problem:
I have created the Contacts DB from the template, then populated with test
data. No other objects added or canges made to the DB.
Open the contacts details form and click on the "Create Outlook Contacts"
button. The Outlook Contacts Form opens, with the data from the DB, I presume
for any changes to be made before it is saved to Outlook Contacts.
If I split the DB, the "Create Outlook Contacts" button does nothing- no
error message or action. This happens regardles of the path to the BE
(network or Desktop directory).
Any suggestions? Perhaps a bug in the system?
