create table from a recordset

Figure out what source statement you used to get your recordset, and turn it
into a Make Table query statement.

dim rs as recordset
set rs = currentdb.openrecordset("select * from tbl")

now how to turn it into a Make Table query statement?

1. Copy the SQL statement (the string inside the quotes.)

2. Create a new query.

3. Switch the query to SQL View (View menu.)

4. Paste the SQL statement in.

5. Switch back to Design view (View menu.)

6. Change to a Make Table query (Query menu.)

7. Switch back to SQL View, and you have your statement to make a table.
