Create template page with guides

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to create a template (master) page with guides?

I'd like to create numerous pages with some attributes in common (e.g.
header textbox, number of columns). Of course I'd like to have the
same guides positioned on every page, but I haven't discovered how to
do this in Visio.

I thought it would be simple to create a template page and then copy it
to another tab, but it seems I have to insert new pages, reset the
guides, and manually copy and paste the common attributes for every
page--whew, that's a lot of work...and wasted time.

Am I missing something?

the easiest way is to put that information on a 'background' page and then
assign that background to the appropriate working (foreground) pages. file
=> page setup => page properties
