Creating a custom chart [Excel 2003]

Is there a way to combine a stackable bar graph and a line graph? Or to add
a data field to a stackable bar graph that lies outside of the stacked data?

Basically what I'm trying to do is stack each quarters accomplishments as a
running total, but display the goal [in this case, as a line at the top, but
a separate bar next to the running total would work as well]. The x-axis
will be all the players, who must achieve different goals.

Ignore the "built-in custom" types. Make a stacked chart with the stack data
(or all data if it's connected). If the line data is not included, copy it,
select the chart, use Edit menu > Paste Special to add the data as a new
series. Select the series you want to change to a line, go to Chart menu >
Chart Type, and change it.
