creating a database

i am trying to creat a directory in excel. I have about a 1000 listings i've
found, but it is very tedious entereing them all (name, address, phone #) one
by one. Is there a spider or bot or something that can take this info and add
it into excel for

If you have a comma separated list you can get them in very easily. The
question is what kind of collection is it and is it uniform from one
entry to the next!
