Creating a dropdown box

I need assistance in creating a "dropdown" box. I need to create a
spreadsheet, whereby if I click onto a certain cell, it will allow me to
click on the arrow of the dropdown box and make my selection, obviously
the data in that dropdown box will be linked to another spreadsheet.
Anyone who might understand what I am requesting could please provide me
with an e-mail address so that I could e-mail them an example of what I
intend to do.

You can create a dropdown list with data validation. There are
instructions for this in Excel's Help files, and here:

If you try this on your worksheet, and have problems, post another
question here. You shouldn't email your worksheet to anyone unless they
ask you to.

To the best of my knowledg, data validation only works with a sourcerange in
the same workbook (may be in a different sheet) - at least i^n Excel 2000 -
I wouldn't know about XP.
