Creating Macro

I need to know the basis step in creating a macro to be used in Excel.
Can some please help me!

Creating Macro,

Step one would be to scroll a wee bit further down in the Microsoft
Interface to the Excel newsgroup. When posting there you might want to
specifiy which version of Excel you are using.
