Creating a new rule

When I created a rule to reply with a specific message I could not open the
message. I tried creating the message and saved it in a different folder,
but I could not acess it when receating the rule. Any suggestions?

Outlook version? Where did you put the reply message and what format did you
save it in? What instructions did you follow?
