Creating a PPT to send to someone who does not have it.

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I'm making a PPT presentation for someone who does not have PPT. They should be able to open the file, this I know. I wanted to include some Review Comments on it, so I'm wondering if the person would be able to see those comments using only PowerPoint Viewer???

Thank you.

PowerPoint Viewer will only play the slide show. In order to see the
comments, notes, or anything other than regular slide content the user needs
a program that can actually open the .ppt, .pptx, file. IOW, what you see
when you run the presentation in Slide Show View is all they have access to.

You might want to convince the other person to install OpenOffice.org,
which is available for free. It should also be able to display comments
in a PowerPoint document in addition to allowing them to create and edit
these documents. Mind you, it's not the real thing, but it comes pretty
close, and the price is unbeatable.

If they have a Mac, you'd be better to recommend NeoOffice over
OpenOffice. PC users should use OxygenOffice instead of the generic
OpenOffice build. The OpenOffice builds are more for developers than
regular users. OpenOffice builds are missing templates, etc.
