Almost.
You also need to add an exception for when your name is in the cc field.
The easiest way is to use the rule: When my name is not in the To field",
move to the specified folder, and then add the exception "Except for when my
name is in the Cc field".

"db" <databaseben.discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message
maybe.
the trick is for the rule
to focus on the "to" field
of the messages you receive
via the bcc field. basically
your email address will be
in the bcc field and not the
to field
therefore if the rule is set up to
see that the "to" field "does not"
have your name, then you can
assign an action for these
types of messages.
so create the rule by using the "to"
field criterion, then click on
"contains people" then
select "your" email address(s)
then select option and use
the "is not" option.

Is it possible to create a rule within Outlook so that certain emails I
receive where my name is located in the Bcc filed are directed to a specific
folder?
Thank you!
