Creating a sidebar

Is there a way to create a small sidebar the entire length of the document that contains seperate text? It would look similar to a two column document but the text would not wrap from the left column to the right, instead it would continue onto the next page. I'd really appreciate any help you could provide!

(Please email me at (e-mail address removed) and remove the NOSPAM)

Thanks!

One way to do this is with a two-column borderless table. Be sure to start a
new row frequently, though, as Word can't handle long single-row tables. If
there is not to be continuous text in the "sidebar" column, you might also
want to experiment with using a framed style to insert the sidebars. The
downside to a frame is that it cannot wrap from one page to the other, but
if these are typical sidebars, that would not be a problem.
