Creating a template to print on Custom paper

Jessica

Hello,

I have a custom hard copy document that is 11' x 14' with several areas
needing text to be entered. I would need to create a Word Template that
would place the text in the suggested areas. I am not sure how to measure the
areas for the required text, how would I go about formatting this template
for this document.

Lastly, I have Word 2003

turn on your ruler first so you can measure
then be sure that your page setup is set/defaulted
to that page size. also be sure that your printer
can support the page.

(((if not then
you will have to use normal pages, glue
your sections on the bigger page and
take it to kinkos for reproduction.)))

then you can use the insert text box, one
for each section or
create a table with four sections.

if you are going to fold the paper into
some kind of a card then you need to
use the text box so that you can flip
the text were needed so when
it is the page is printed and folded
the text will appear in the correct
direction. in the text box you can also
insert images as well....

I have a ruler that I have used to measure the custom paper. But what I am
having the problem with is how to measure the location for the text with the
millimeters on the ruler

Thanks,

Kellie

Can't help you with the ruler in your hand.

But word has a ruler on the screen.

Go to view and select ruler.

If you want millimeters instead of inches then
go to tools, options, general and select
millimeters from the drop down menu.
