Creating a User Account via PWA and then adding to Enterprise Resource Pool

Can a current user, that was created in Project Web Access, be added to the
Enterprise Resource Pool? If so, how?

Thanks,
Jim

Open the Enterprise Resource Pool, add the resource, double-click the
resource's name and make sure the Windows User Account information is the
same for the resource in both the resource pool and in PWA, and then save
the Enterprise Resource Pool. If you had added the resource first in the
Enterprise Resource Pool, the user account would have been automatically
created in PWA for you. Hope this helps.

Dale,

Thank you for the fast reply.

From Project Professional, I have selected "Open Enterprise Resource
Pool..." with success.

The "Add resources from Project Server" radio button is selected. But,
when I click on "Build Team from Project Server...", I get the message box:
"Project could not add resources from the Project Server. Your Server URL
may be incorrect. Please check the Server URL in the Collaborate tab of the
Tools Options dialog."

So, I go there and click the "Test Connection" button, and get the
"...successful..." message box.

I am logged onto my Windows XP Pro workstation with domain account. My
account, as set up in PWA, is the same domain account with windows
authentication. That PWA account has all permissions, including
"Administrators".

Any suggestions?

You need to type the name of the user in the Enterprise Resource Pool and
then follow the directions in my original post. Hope this helps.
