Creating an action plan in Microsoft Word or Excel?

I wanted to know if anyone had created an action plan template in either
Microsoft Word or Excel. If you had, could you share the template with me?

i don't think you would
describe it as a template,
but rather an outline, a
plan of action.

it will have a beginning
a middle and an end.

but it can be more complex
than the above.

I) define the problem,
why is it a problem, how
did it become a problem
and what is the solution.

II) what are the processes
involved towards that solution
or goals, who and what is involved
and how much will it cost in time
and money.

III) and what will be the outcome
by taking the plan of action above,
how much will be saved, earned,
profited and or benefitted.

basically, you will propose/
provide a draft copy of the
plan to ascertain and ensure
you receive an alternate perspective
towards producing a finalize plan.

for example if costs are involved,
you should get accounting people
involved to ensure your goals
are not unrealistic but achievable.

if personnel are involved, you
might want to invite their opinions
about the goals and methods
you are proposing.

ultimately a plan of action is
worthless if there is no team
work.

like a foot ball coach, he can
develop a plan of action towards
achieving a goal.

but if he doesn't know the
capabilities of the players
on the team, their weaknesses
or strengths, then the plan
won't work.
