Creating appointments with multiple time zones, like airplane travel

I posted this once before (Aug 4) but didn't get an answer
except "There are alternatives. Go look." I'm hoping
someone else can do better than that.

I'd like to be able to enter calendar items that span
multiple time zones, for instance, airplane travel from
one part of the country or world to another. A flight
from the midwest to the west coast can appear to take only
30 minutes because the departure and arrival times are
published and, therefore, entered in Outlook in local,
time zone-specific time.

It's even more ridiculous when traveling from Asia to the
US -- you arrive before you left!

Is it possible to accommodate these kinds of appointments?
thanks,
karin

Most airline booking sites now offer Outlook calendar items that will
correctly report your travel time.
