creating brochures of more than 8 pages

M

Ms. Green

I downloaded from microsoft a template for booklets/brochures which is for 8
1/2 x 11, 2-folds, 8pages. My booklet turned out to have 20 pages. The
problem now is when I try printing page 1, it print outs page 1 and page 8.
It restricts itself to 8 pages only as downloaded. It should have been
printed as page 1 and page 20. What should I do? I neep help, thanks!

I'm using "catalog" templates from Microsoft Word (vista). That's where I
found the booklet 8 1/2 x 11, 2 folds, 8pp.

I don't mean to be dense, but I'm not much of a Word user. How do I get to
the template you're using? Is it something you downloaded online?

I wonder if it has a setting in File | Print to print pages 1-8 or
something. I'd check it, but I can't locate the template.

Now that we know which template you are using, on the Page Layout tab, in
the Page Setup group, click the dialog box launcher (the arrow in the lower
right corner) and on the Margins tab, change the number of sheets per
booklet.

I swear, I could NOT find this setting using a regular blank document. Makes
sense -- I needed something that was set up as a booklet before those
settings become available, because I completely missed the book fold
setting.

('swhat I get for trying to figure out stuff in Word! LOL)
