Creating Combo Boxes in Access 2000

A user is having difficulty creating combo (and check)
boxes in Access 2000 using Design View. Whenever he
attempts to create one, the error occurs:

"ClassFactory cannnot supply requested class."

Any assisstance would be appreciated.
