When I create a comment for a cell, the resizing tabs disappear as soon as I edit the text. I have to then close and reopen the comment to resize it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Once you start typing the handle do indeed disappear, but you needn't close
& reopen to get them back... Either click the edge of the Comment or press
the esc key. They'll also reappear if you drag the Comment a bit, but that's
because you're clicking the edge in order to move it
